We believe when students have a say in their canteen and the food, they are more likely to make healthier choices, which we believe will help schools see improved health and learning outcomes.
The core focus of the Schools & Co concept is to create delicious food from sustainable, fresh and seasonal produce and providing the students with the best, memorable canteen experience and environment.
We do this by listening too and having our chefs, nutritionists, and design teams work with the students in the early stages, to ensure they get the best food and dining environment and space.
BETTER HEALTH & EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES
Teams and students will help devise healthy menus that deliver well balanced, nourishing and delicious meals. They will also co-create and co-design the service experience and environment to ensure they get the best food and canteen dining memorable food experience.
We are also giving the students a voice and opportunity in helping to promote better health and well being, and in making sure that the food & canteen at their school is an inclusive one.
As a responsible caterer, we are dedicated to playing active role in supporting good nutrition and promoting healthy eating and will provide great food-based activities for students of all ages that will help foster healthy eating habits
OUR SCHOOL & CO CANTEEN BRAND & HEALTHY EATING ETHOS

OUR FIRST LAUNCH
The first School & Co Canteen concept launched on the 28th of January 2020 in partnership with The Essington International School, Darwin’s leading local and international school.
In preparation for the launch of the new school year, both teams have been working together to create a new, exciting food and menu’s and refreshed canteen experience for the students first day back.
Principle and CEO, Mr. Brian Kennell stated "the founders are passionate about food, they are committed to, not only cooking sustainable, healthy and delicious food. but teaching their ethos to those entering the profession and passing on some of that knowledge to our students will be invaluable.
Their eagerness to implement this vision within our school is shared by, our excitement to share this new venture with our students, parents and staff
